If you really have the heart
Then you wouldn’t have the heart..
If you really cared
Then you wouldn’t have cared..
If you really said
Then you wouldn’t have said..
If you really respected
Then you wouldn’t have respected..
If you really intended
Then you wouldn’t have intended..
If you really wanted
Then you wouldn’t have wanted..
If you really anticipated
Then you wouldn’t have anticipated..
that I died today
You died too.

Cinta Kasih Sayang

Sayang itu seluruh nyawa.
tidak disayangi, separuh nyawa pergi,
tidak menyayangi, separuh nyawa mati.
Cinta itu seluruh hidup.
tidak dicintai, separuh hidup gundah,
tidah menyintai, separuh hidup musnah.
Kasih itu selamanya.
tidak dikasihi, tidak mungkin terjadi,
hingga akhir nanti, Allah maha mengasihi.
(p/s: this is my first Malay poem)
Rest in peace

My head sunk into a deep, soft pillow,
My body buried under a silky fluffy duvet,
My heart stopped bleeding for one day,
My mind stopped ticking till Sunday.
She Tells Her Love

She tells her love while half asleep,
In the dark hours,
With half words whispered low;
As earth stirs in her winter sleep
And puts out grass and flowers
Despite the snow,
Despite the falling snow.
Dear Love,

And my eyes tear every time I remind myself
I have tried and I have failed
It hurts like daggers on the inside
The only happy thought that keeps me going
Is knowing that I am loved by you
It makes my whole life ahead worth living.
Thou Art

I love the way
you look at me,
Your eyes
gleaming bright,
Staring into the depth
of my soul,
Everything feels right.
The world stops for
a moment,
Fireworks dazzle
in distance,
Birds chirp on
the windowsill,
Sweet music
pushing silence.
And the honest
truth is,
Without you,
I’m not whole,
And forever
I will love you.
If truth,
then truth be told.
And I’m truly sorry,
For every bit
of suffering,
No matter what you say
or do,
It was not my intention
to hurt you.
If you do love me
Utter I love you
If you don't
My heart
will cry out for you.
I look forward
to an entire life,
Without wishing
for things
I couldn’t have,
I’m happy for
everything that’s true,
Knowing that
I was loved by you
True to Your Heart

I hold it true, whate'er befall;
I feel it, when I sorrow most;
'Tis better to have loved and lost
Than never to have loved at all
Night

Peaceful night
Times I talk to you
Times I cry with you
Times I kiss your lips
Beautiful night
Always wish you happiness
Always wish you love
Always wish you warmth
Moonlit night
I love you
I miss you
I need you
Breezy night
We cuddle
We sit by a fireplace
We mind read
You night
Close to your heart
Listen to your beat
Melt in your embrace
With you
My heart
Skips a beat
Good night
Disturbia

I wish I were a kite
With no strings attached
I wish you hadn’t
Pulled my strings
My heartfelt stings
Just as I’m about to regain
My pinnacle of joy
You pull me down again
Down, down, down
I want to bring
My own sunshine
Everywhere I go
But all you can offer is rain
And I am drenched
With nowhere to go
In a fog, dark and gloomy
My sunshine bright
But your darkness overshadows
The light
If I were a kite
With no strings attached
I would soar high
And go to a desolate place
To meet sunshine so bright
So that I can bring it back to you
Your lightning and thunder
won’t bring me down
because I will bring sunshine
wherever I go
Just so you know
I am a reflection of you
You left me out in the rain
Far too long
But I don’t hate you
Because I bring sunshine
Wherever I go
I love you still
Please
let me feel the wind
On my skin
Please
let me be
A kite for a split second
And I’ll bring back
Your sunshine
I promise
My Duvet

Till then,
I'll be under the duvet,
Crispy white velvety duvet,
Till my heart becomes lighter,
And my world becomes brighter,
I'll fall in deep slumber,
In sweet warm embrace,
And I don't need you
Under the duvet,
I won't cry for you
Under the duvet,
I shall not miss you
Under the duvet,
I'll be waiting for you
If that's okay.
I love you dearly,
even if it were surly,
I'll be here
under the duvet.Till then,
I'll be under the duvet,
Crispy white velvety duvet,
Till my heart becomes lighter,
And my world becomes brighter,
I'll fall in deep slumber,
In sweet warm embrace,
And I don't need you
Under the duvet,
I won't cry for you
Under the duvet,
I shall not miss you
Under the duvet,
I'll be waiting for you
If that's okay.
I love you dearly,
even if it were surly,
I'll be here
under the duvet.

Sorrow
When you are sorrowful
look again in your heart,
and you shall see
that in truth
you are weeping
for that
which has been your delight.
-- Kahlil Gibran
look again in your heart,
and you shall see
that in truth
you are weeping
for that
which has been your delight.

Who Would

Who would love me to death?
Who whould think me to be
the most beautiful being on earth?
Who would care for me and worry for me
when I'm sick to my bones?
Who would embrace me and kiss
my tears away
when my world falls apart?
Who would make me a meal
when I'm down and depressed?
Who would give me food for love?
Who would buy me gifts
just because.
Who would buy me supplements
when I look like a zombie?
Who would call me gorgeous
when I become that zombie?
Who would even care?
No one would
but you,
only you,
All the more reasons
I love you.
Magical
Always, deep within my soul,
I know we have a love
like no other.
What we share is
something
Others only hope for
and dream of,
But few ever experience.
Our love is magical,
beyond belief.
Always, without hesitation,
you give of yourself
completely.
You have reached
the very depths of my soul,
Bringing out emotions
I never knew I had
and unveiling an ability to love
I never thought possible.
I know we have a love
like no other.
What we share is
something
Others only hope for
and dream of,
But few ever experience.
Our love is magical,
beyond belief.
Always, without hesitation,
you give of yourself
completely.
You have reached
the very depths of my soul,
Bringing out emotions
I never knew I had
and unveiling an ability to love
I never thought possible.
Tea-cher

A millionbillionwillion miles from home
Waiting for the bell to go. (To go where?)
Why are they all so big, other children?
So noisy? So much at home they
Must have been born in uniform
Lived all their lives in playgrounds
Spent the years inventing games
That don't let me in. Games
That are rough, that swallow you up.
And the railings. All around, the railings.
Are they to keep out wolves and monsters?
Things that carry off and eat children?
Things you don't take sweets from?
Perhaps they're to stop us getting out
Running away from the lessins.
Lessin. What does a lessin look like?
Sounds small and slimy.
They keep them in the glassrooms.
Whole rooms made out of glass. Imagine.
I wish I could remember my name
Mummy said it would come in useful.
Like wellies. When there's puddles.
Yellowwellies. I wish she was here.
I think my name is sewn on somewhere
Perhaps the teacher will read it for me.
Tea-cher. The one who makes the tea.

A Paradox
"You are doomed to make choices. This is life's greatest paradox."— Dr. Wayne Dyer quote
His Wife
So long as I shall live.
My husband.
I want to be a wife who dedicates her life to you.
My husband.
I want to be a wife who loves you, and only you.
My husband.
I want to be a wife who'll remain faithful by your side.
My husband.
I want to be a wife who sings your name in praise.
My husband.
I want to be a wife who treats you kingly.
My husband.
I want to look into your eyes and fall in love.
My husband.
I want to be a wife who'd never hurt your pride.
My husband.
I want to be a wife who cares for your thoughts.
My husband.
At any stage she is not wife. I'd despise her.
With tears in my eyes.
Till the end of my breath.
My husband.
My husband.
Heart Ache
If only you could see my heart. You'd understand.
You're written all over it like the daily newspaper.
If only you could read my mind.
You'd listen to your name on the top chart,
As its played over and over like the annoying adverts on the radio.
If only you knew what your smile means to me,
Its when I sparkle and flicker like the moonlight,
If only you knew how your eyes affect my soul,
Its when my eyelashes flutter like butterflies.
You'd know how deep I love you
If you could read my mind,
see my heart and my soul.
How I long to be with you.
Everytime you're not around,
You take my heart with you,
And I whisper your name to give it back.
But you don't hear, you don't see, you don't read.

If Love Is
I do believe in soul mates
Lucky perceptive soul
Of hugs and kisses, oh more than that
Vulnerable to adhering
Envying the smallest gestures
Yet the agony
Of never wanting to be solitary
Unbelievably calm
Masculine, soaring, charming
Otherwise sweetest smile
He comforts sorrow away
Deals with anger and pain
Acts rationally, wisely
Revolves around others
Indeed love is
For him
For he is wonderful
Lucky perceptive soul
Of hugs and kisses, oh more than that
Vulnerable to adhering
Envying the smallest gestures
Yet the agony
Of never wanting to be solitary
Unbelievably calm
Masculine, soaring, charming
Otherwise sweetest smile
He comforts sorrow away
Deals with anger and pain
Acts rationally, wisely
Revolves around others
Indeed love is
For him
For he is wonderful

To Be A Mommy
What does it mean to be a woman?
To wash the dishes,
To cook and clean,
To do the laundry,
To mop the floors..
What does it mean to be a woman?
To be a wife,
To be the meal planner,
To be the one who waits at tea..
To be the ironing lady too..
What does it mean to be a woman?
To be the household provider,
To be the driver,
TO be the worker,
To be the supervisor..
What does it mean to be a woman?
To be kind yet rough
To be soft-spoken yet out-spoken
To be gentle yet tough
To be be respectful yet respected..
What does it mean to be a woman?
To be pwetty, pwetty,
To be sexy and playful,
To be 34-24-34,
To be silky, soft, and fair..
But wait,
Is that all?
That's a quarter
The other is a mother.
To wash the dishes,
To cook and clean,
To do the laundry,
To mop the floors..
What does it mean to be a woman?
To be a wife,
To be the meal planner,
To be the one who waits at tea..
To be the ironing lady too..
What does it mean to be a woman?

To be gentle yet tough
To be be respectful yet respected..
